We have put a lot of emphasis on the fact that our placement machines can be used in office environments, which requires compact dimensions. Our machines do not require a technician to set up and operate the system, which in turn reduces the initial cost.
Since the wishes of our customers are very important to us, we can respond to them flexibly and individually by making customer-specific adjustments to the placement machines.

We offer a range of high precision pick and place machines which are divided into three groups:
Machines that are used in Maker Spaces or in small development offices to handle recurring placement tasks and to relieve staff.
These machines require a little more effort of support and are only suitable up to 0402 and with pin spacing >= 0.6mm.
In this area are placement machines with analog camera systems that guarantee an alignment accuracy up to a pin spacing of >= 0.45 mm and 0201 parts.
These machines already have a variety of feeders that allow to realize even extensive SMD placement projects.
These machines have high resolution cameras that allow precise alignment of even small components. They have a high speed camera that can align components in "Fly By" mode. This speeds up
placement because the head no longer has to wait above the camera. The mode is only suitable for chips, for high accuracy alignment it is necessary to wait above the camera.
The Pecker and Raptor placement machines use modern CAN bus technology to network the internal controllers. This reduces the amount of cabling required and improves the reliability of the system, as few cables run through the cable chains and therefore a cable break occurs much later.
All placement machines are well maintainable and future-proof thanks to modular design! We use industry standard components that are available for many years.
A special version of the Raptor machine, equipped with grippers, enables the placement of wired components.
These are fed via vibration pots.
With the soldering processes reflow soldering and vapor phase soldering, SMALLSMT is optimally positioned for the different customer requirements. The soldering processes in the danpfphase take
place under oxygen exclusion and thus offer a high process reliability. Lead-free soldering is, of course, standard for us.
Our reflow soldering offers a perfect start into the SMD electronics production by circulating air and automatic process control. Herewith > 90% of all soldering tasks can be done reliably.
We offer a very good optical inspection system that greatly simplifies manual PCB inspection.
